Please tell us about your work.

Multiplex is a global contractor specialising in the construction of tall buildings in the residential, office, healthcare and tertiary education sectors. The focus of my work, the Sustainability Director of Multiplex Europe, is leading the development of strategies for sustainable construction of our clients’ developments and for a just transition of the company’s operations to a low carbon economy as well as driving industry collaboration initiatives, such as the UK Contractors Declare manifesto.

What is the focus of your CitA Tech Live presentation?

The focus of my presentation is the seven trends, or business opportunities, that are reinforced by COVID and have, in turn, the potential to significantly reinforce sustainability in the built environment and beyond.

Why is this topic important in Digital Construction?

Digital Construction is a current trend in the industry and at the same time, it plays a key role in transforming our industry by enabling us to better meet the needs of society today and tomorrow, enabling people, the planet and businesses to thrive.

Have you attended CitA events in the past?
