Overview of the role:

The successful candidate will work across producing detailed revit models, executing and preparing detailed 3D models, arrangement drawings and also fabrication drawings for water and waste water treatment plants.

Day to day of the role:

  • Coordination of federated models using Navisworks for clash detection.

  • BIM Asset management using COBie

  • Executing & preparing detailed General Arrangement Drawings pertinent to  Water & Waste-water Treatment Plants using AutoCAD Software under guidance from Design Engineers

  • Executing & preparing detailed Fabrication Design Drawings pertinent to  Water & Waste-water Treatment Plants using AutoCAD Software under guidance from Design Engineers

  • Responsibility for ensuring that your work within your department is carried out accurately and with due diligence

  • Effective Time management and execution of output within defined timeline and budgetary constraints

  • Problem solving and application of good engineering principles

  • Understanding and ensuring compliance with Clients Specifications, User Requirement Specifications, Health and Safety Requirements, Company Quality requirements,  Company Policy, legislation, design standards and good engineering practice

  • Adhere to the Company’s ethical conduct guidelines and maintain a working environment which is supportive and respectful of other employees

Required skills for this role:

  • 2+ years previous experience in a design and contracting role

  • Third level qualification in Engineering / Design and a technical background essential

  • Experience in M&E services coordination Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team essential

  • Excellent knowledge of Revit / Navisworks / AutoCAD

  • Knowledge of producing General Arrangement Drawings

  • Knowledge of producing Fabrication Drawings

  • Strong Problem solving skills

  • Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment industry preferable

  • Knowledge of Plant 3D preferable but not essential

  • 2+ years previous experience in a design and contracting role
