The BIM Innovation Capability Programme (BICP) Client Survey is now available to complete online.
This survey will help the BICP Client Working Group understand current Information Communication Technology (ICT) adoption by clients. BICP Postdoctoral Researcher Dr Barry McAuley described the survey to BIMIreland.ie
Describing the BICP Client Working Group and the survey, Barry said, ‘The BICP Client Working Group was established to capture and investigate current Client awareness, adoption and future plans for use of Information Communication Technology, as well as particular concerns in response to the growing awareness of ICT related practices. The BICP Client Working Group falls under the scope of the CitA BICP (http://www.bicp.ie/) which is a direct response to the 2014 Construction 2020 report calling on Enterprise Ireland to work with industry organisations to promote the use of BIM. The following survey will help the group understand current ICT adoption by clients during the design and post occupancy phase.’

The BICP seeks to capture the capability of the Irish Construction Industry and the Higher Education Institutes to respond to the increased requirement for BIM on Irish construction and engineering projects.
