On July 23rd cyclists of all levels take part in Murphy Surveys’ Cycle for Crumlin in Kilcullen, Co.Kildare and in association with the Kilcullen Cycling Club. The non-competitive cycle will see riders complete a 50 km or 100 km route.

The cycle looks to raise funds to support the fantastic work of CMRF, the charity of Our Lady’s Hospital, Crumlin. The hospital has had an impact on the lives of so many, including many of the firm’s own staff, and this year they are celebrating their 60th Anniversary with the launch of ‘Crumlin’s Big Book of Memories’.

Mrrphy-Surveys-Cycle-2Last year, the event raised over €10,000 to aid with research and help buy equipment for the hospital and there are hopes that this year this number can be surpassed. For the team at Murphy Surveys, being able to give back to such an incredible and worthwhile cause means a great deal to the staff as they look to make this year’s event even bigger for the charity!

The cycle itself will bring a great buzz to the tight knit Kilcullen community as the company looks to make sure it will be a fun day out for all who take part and their supporters! There will be spot prizes up for grabs on the day for participants as well as this Murphy Surveys will provide some tasty treats and refreshments following the event from their headquarters in Kilcullen Business Park and there may be one or two other surprises in store to make the day that little bit more special!

The main focus of the event is to support the work of Our Lady’s Hospital. All funds raised for the cycle will go directly to CMRF. The cost to take part is just €25.00 for either the 50km cycle or a separate 100 km challenge.
