BIMIreland.ie spoke to CitA’s General Manager Suzanne Purcell. Suzanne said, ‘Since 2008, the CitA Skillnet Training Network has focused on ICT training needs within the Irish construction industry and target organisations include Architects, Clients, Engineers, Main Contractors, Professional Institutions, Quantity Surveyors, Sub Contractors and Suppliers. CitA Skillnet is funded by member companies and the Training Networks Programme, an initiative of Skillnets Ltd. funded from the National Training Fund through the Department of Education and Skills.’

Suzanne also told us, ‘Training grants received by CitA Skillnet enable the network to provide a discount of up to 30% on most ICT Training courses to member companies. CitA Skillnet also provides training to the unemployed.’
