BIMIreland.ie is an Irish building magazine resource in association with CitA. The website has a variety of interesting news articles, features and interviews for those interested in learning more about BIM. BIMIreland.ie is Ireland’s only exclusively dedicated BIM resource. There are a variety of news articles each week. We have regular BIM technology news and BIM job postings. Each week there is an interview with a BIM expert.

CitA is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes the benefits of digitisation in the Irish construction industry. CitA offers members access to an informative event programme and discounts on their CitA skillnet training programmes. Enterprise Ireland

Enterprise Ireland is working to promote Irish companies in Britain. John Hunt, Senior Market Advisor for Construction at Enterprise Ireland said Digital Construction Week was a launch event to showcase Ireland’s BIM capabilities.

In a recent interview with Irish Building magazine Dr Alan Hore recommended for Irish BIM businesses who want to set up in the UK, to get in touch with Enterprise Ireland, and enquire about the BIM-Enable and BIM-Implement programmes. These are two grant types offered by Enterprise Ireland to companies.

Irish BIM Education and Research

Soon to come in 2016 BIMIreland.ie will keep you updated on BIM courses in Ireland. There are a variety of BIM courses in Irish third-level collages. Most building courses now have integrated BIM modules. It was evident from the CitA BIM Gathering that BIM research in Ireland is growing.
