EPS Pumping and Treatment Systems is switching to Ireland’s leading independent energy firm Energia in a major new €2.4 million electricity deal.

The new deal will see Energia supplying the company’s 150 sites around Ireland with 2.4GwHs of electricity each year. This power will be supplied to EPS’ Group facilities, including those in Mallow, Co Cork, Ballyhaunis, Co Mayo, Mountrath, Co Laois and Naas, Co Kildare.

Commenting on the deal, Barry O’Toole, EPS Pumping and Treatment Systems states: “Electricity is a major input for our business, so the decision to make significant savings by switching to Energia was an easy one to make.  While we are conscious of the need to control costs, we also have a strong preference to deal with a reliable supplier, who can provide first class customer service.  Energia have exceeded our expectations on both counts.”

“EPS is developing a strategy for the provision of green energy where possible.  This present deal further promotes and delivers on our strategy.”

“EPS has an ongoing strategy to reduce both our embedded and operational carbon as a result of our activities and service delivery and we are satisfied that we are moving in the right direction with this announcement “ stated Barry O’Toole , Operations Manager EPS Group.
